Yes, I'm Still Here!
Jumping on for a moment to first let the world know I’m fine - just taking a Substack break amid the start of the school year (I am an adjunct at two universities) and putting together an annual barbecue that bit into all the news about Trump freak-outs, Biden work, hurricanes, stranding of sweaty people in the desert to gather at the Burning Man fandango (which Marjorie Taylor Greene, appearing on INFO WARS (which still exists), is convinced is a plot to brainwash that crowd into thinking climate change is real) (yes, she did) a and various notable passings going on without me yapping about them.
I’ll be back this week with a new schedule b/c of the teaching schedule, with the updates going to a three-times-a-week format for my fall semesters!
In the meantime, I gift a cool PDF I copied from John Fugelsang’s once-upon-a-time Twitter feed in solidarity to my fellow union brothers and sisters (proud member of two adjunct unions, proud officer of Roosevelt University’s Adjunct Faculty Organization (RAFO, IEA/NEA), grant everyone rest and rejuvenation, and onward to document more carnival action in the news and culture in the future!
